Freelance Event Director | Canada (2024 – Present)

As an independent Event Director, I partner with agencies and organizations to lead end-to-end event delivery, from strategy and creative development to logistics, production, and onsite management. I thrive in complex environments, managing multi-stakeholder projects and large-scale conferences with hundreds to thousands of attendees.

Recent work includes multi-day conferences, tech summits, and corporate experiences featuring interactive partner activations, keynote production, sponsorship engagement, and high-profile entertainment components.

Event Director, Proof Experiences | Toronto, Canada (2022 – 2024)

Led national and multi-city events for major brands including Intuit, Nestlé, RBC, and the Government of Canada. Managed everything from budgeting and venue negotiations to creative design, technical production, and team leadership.

Highlights include:

• Intuit “Get Connected” Conference Series –  multi-city professional conference featuring keynote sessions, breakout rooms, sponsor activations, and celebration experiences.

• TurboTax Fan Jam with Toronto Raptors player Fred VanVleet –  large-scale consumer event combining sports, music, and brand storytelling.

• Nestlé Next Employee Conference – full-scale corporate conference for 800+ attendees.

Senior Planner, York University | Toronto, Canada (2020 – 2022)

Managed alumni and donor events for the university’s Development and Advancement team. Delivered virtual and hybrid programs during the pandemic, including the York U Alumni Awards, webinars, and networking sessions connecting students and alumni leaders.

Project Manager, Flash Entertainment | Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (2014 – 2020)

Directed world-class live events for one of the Middle East’s premier entertainment companies. Oversaw large-scale productions from concerts and festivals to sporting and community events with audiences of up to 200,000 attendees.

Major projects included the Special Olympics Opening & Closing Ceremonies, concerts by Bruno Mars and Andrea Bocelli, and family entertainment such as PAW Patrol Live and Winterland Carnival.

Founder & Managing Director, Kamikaze Events | Dubai, United Arab Emirates (2008 – 2014)

Founded and ran a full-service event agency specializing in corporate events, conferences, and brand activations. Worked with leading brands including Emirates Airline, Jotun Paints, GlaxoSmithKline, and Dubai Sports City, managing everything from creative concepting to logistics and production.

Early Beginnings | York University | Toronto, Canada (2005 – 2007)

My passion for events began while studying at York University, where I led the Indian Students Club as President and won the Student Centre Leadership Award for outstanding contribution and community leadership.
