To mark the 250th anniversary of the birth of Beethoven, Hamburg Symphony Orchestra performed his renowned 9th Symphony under the baton of French conductor, Sylvain Cambreling. The orchestra comprised of more than 80 musicians and a chorus of 70 singers.

Concert goers experienced the full musical drama of Richard Wagner’s “The Valkyrie”, under the artistic direction of Katharina Wagner, great granddaughter of the composer.
The production also included a feature length film played in the background telling the story of The Valkyrie.

The prestigious Camerata Salzburg Orchestra with violin virtuoso Renaud Capuçon, performed Mozart and Satie Violin Concertos.
The evening was completed by pieces from the famous works of the Viennese Classical and the New Music period.

Staatskapelle Dresden created a unique project with legendary pianist Rudolf Buchbinder, who also conducted the orchestra for two exceptional evenings.
The Staatskapelle Dresden with Rudolf Buchbinder performed the complete cycle of five piano concertos by Ludwig van Beethoven.

The Lucerne Symphony Orchestra presented two magical nights with American Conductor James Gaffigan and American soloist Nicholas Angelich.
The programme took the audience on a voyage of classical and romantic musical styles through drawing a panorama of compositions in the “Music of Romantic Age”

The Russian National Orchestra performed two concerts under the baton of legendary conductor, Grammy Award and European Cultural Award winner Mikhail Pletnev.
The programme was dedicated to Russian composers from the 19th and 20th century.

The Lebanese vocalist, Majida El Roumi, took the audience on a nostalgic journey through her famous repertoire.
Majida sang romantic and patriotic poetry written by prestigious Arab poets. She is highly renowned in the Middle East.

Principals and leading dancers from the world-renowned Russian classical ballet company, Bolshoi Ballet, took the audience on an inspirational journey by performing an assortment of excerpts from some of the most internationally acclaimed ballets including “The Nutcracker”, “Swan Lake”, “Giselle”, “Don Quixote” and many more.
20 April 2018 | Emirates Palace Hotel, Abu Dhabi
The Donetsk Ballet and Opera Theatre with leading ballet dancers from the renowned Bolshoi Theatre, Ivan Vasiliev and Maria Vinogradova performed Le Corsaire.
Choreographed and staged by Yuri Grigorovich, the concert incorporated iconic dancing scenes which are among classical ballet’s most iconic and performed excerpts.
